What I do today
A Fortune 100, a privately held group, a seed-stage board. Different scales, the same loop. I don't name clients. The cases below are from my operating years, where the numbers are mine to show.
The intelligence loop
Every organisation already runs this loop.
The question is what it runs for, and where it breaks.
Below: three loops, and which stages each one rebuilt.

Why I do it this way
That is a loop, and it is the same one every organisation runs — badly, in most cases. Twenty years at Unilever International, latterly as Chief Digital & Technology Officer across 100+ markets, taught me that the technology is rarely the hard part. The hard part is describing the problem honestly before prescribing a cure. Most organisations are in too much of a hurry to do it.

The third lane
Most organisations have two speeds: uncontrolled experimentation, or an enterprise release cycle. The work belongs in a third lane: governed, owned by the business, live in weeks.
